Module Description
The module examines the translation of texts on selected topics in international affairs and opens avenues for further exploration of related issues in the areas. The knowledge of the selected topics and the textual features of related texts should help students to move towards the ultimate goal of translating for both state and non-state actors in the global arena.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- possess a basic understanding of the selected topics in international affairs;
- demonstrate a heightened sensitivity to the current development of the selected topics; and
- apply the acquired knowledge to the translation of relevant texts.
