STRA Online Talk: Exploring the World of Game Localisation: From Card Games to Esports

Dr. Siu Sai Yau, Assistant Professor of the School of Translation, delivered an online talk titled “Exploring the World of Game Localisation: From Card Games to Esports” on 16 April 2020. Dr. Siu introduced to the audience game translation and its industry in the digital era, and demonstrated how relevant software can expedite the translation process. The audience was also informed of the features of the undergraduate programme and courses offered by the School of Translation, and shown how its facilities help students put theory into practice.
