Sharing session by Mr Raymond Young: Living the Interpreter’s Life

Mr. Raymond Young Lap-moon, GBS, JP, former Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, visited the School of Translation and hosted a sharing session titled “Living the Interpreter’s Life”. Having worked as a simultaneous interpreter, Mr. Young regarded curiosity as a crucial quality of interpreters and encouraged students to equip themselves with well-rounded knowledge, a competence that enables better response to various topics and impromptu speech.
