Public Lecture by Deputy Consul General of Peru: Knowing Peru

Mr. Gonzalo Talavera-Alvarez, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Peru in Hong Kong, visited HSUHK and delivered a talk on “Knowing Peru”, a public lecture of the HSUHK Consul General Series co-organised by the Provost’s Office and the School of Translation. In his speech, Mr. Talavera-Alvarez introduced the history, society and culture of Peru. He also toured the learning facilities on campus, including the advanced interpreting equipment of the School of Translation.
