The Consul General of Vietnam visited HSMC and School of Translation
The Consul General of Vietnam to Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR Mr. Tran Thanh Huan paid a visit to HSMC and the School of Translation today, and was greeted by Provost Prof. Gilbert Fong and the Acting Dean of the School of Translation Dr. Shelby Chan. Both parties had fruitful discussions in exploring possible areas for collaboration. Mr. Tran also toured around various learning facilities on-campus. Being a translator in the past, Mr. Tran was particularly interested in the advanced interpreting facilities of Fung Yiu King Hall and the Translation and Interpretation Laboratory of the School.
