Translation Teacher Receives HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards 

Mr Lawrence Leung, Lecturer of the School of Translation, was among the recipients of the HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards 2016/17 and was honoured at HSMC Graduation Ceremony 2017 today.

Joining the School of Translation of HSMC in 2011, the former professional business and financial translator teaches a wide range of translation modules such as Contrastive Linguistics and Translation and Practical Translation, which are fundamental yet essential courses for freshmen.

The College first launched HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards in 2014/15. The Awards are presented annually to distinguished teachers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching, dedication to continuous improvement in pedagogy, and made a distinguished contribution to teaching and learning.
