Engaging in Collaborative Endeavours: A Visit from Beijing International Studies University to The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong

On 28th November 2023, senior representatives from Beijing International Studies University (BISU) paid a visit to The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). They were warmly welcomed by Prof. YV Hui, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research), Dr. Tom Fong, Vice-President (Organisational Development), Prof. Gilbert Fong, Dean of School of Translation and Foreign Languages (STFL), Dr. Shelby Chan, Associate Dean of STFL, and STFL faculty members.

The guest group, comprising Prof. Li Zhen, Deputy Chairperson of the University Council of BISU, and representatives of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, attended a meeting where both parties discussed and explored opportunities to strengthen the bond and collaboration between the two institutions, with a focus on fostering academic and student exchanges.

After the meeting, STFL arranged for the guests a campus tour showcasing the University’s facilities, in which the guests had a firsthand glimpse into the enriching learning environment that HSUHK strives to create.
