Academics from School of Translation on Hong Kong Open TV programme

Professor Gilbert Fong, Dean of School of Translation, and Dr Siu Sai Cheong, Associate Professor, were recently invited to Hong Kong Open TV’s programme. In the programme, Professor Fong and Dr Siu shared the experience of translating masterpieces by world-renowned scholars. They explained the role of translation in today’s fast-changing culture of new media, as well as the trend of growing demand for computer-aided translation and deep learning.
