The School of Translation and Foreign Languages invited solicitor Mr. Simon Yung as a guest speaker to deliver a talk that touched on the things in the minds of lawyers when they draft legal documents and the words and expressions in these documents to which translators should pay special attention. During the lecture, Mr. Yung provided valuable insights into basic skills in English legal writing and illustrated the translation of legal documents with real-life examples.
