Dr Cathy Wei, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, InnoEd Group Limited, and Mr Alex Chow, Chief Financial Officer, InnoEd Group Limited, visited the University in April this year. InnoEd Group Limited is the mother company of Guangxi University of Foreign Languages (GUFL).

Dr Wei and Mr Chow met Professor Simon Ho, the President, Professor Gilbert Fong, Dean of School of Translation and Foreign Languages (STFL), and Professor Bradley Barnes, Dean of School of Business (SBUS). Both parties explored the possibility of deepening collaboration by launching study tours and exchange programmes for students, as well as offering a dual degree programme. Professor Ho was invited to lead a delegation for a reciprocal visit to the Nanning campus of GUFL to learn more about its vision.

STFL and SBUS inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GUFL last November with the aim of promoting diversification and internationalization of higher education in Hong Kong and on the Mainland.
