The primary objective of this module is to help students gain linguistic competence and cultural awareness through integration into a world-class host institution either in Mainland China or in an English-speaking country. The experience also gives them wider exposure to learning and studying in a regional or international context.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. improve their language skills;
   
2. increase their understanding of other cultures; and
   
3. broaden their social horizons.
