Visit to Cathay Pacific City

Filled with excitement, students of the module TRA3103 Public Relations Translation made a company visit to Cathay Pacific on 26 April. For the students this was an opportunity to see real “corporate communication” in practice. During the visit, we enjoyed an inspiring presentation on corporate communication by the Corporate Communication Manager (Overseas) of Cathay Pacific, and we were enlightened about the delicate process of information dissemination. We were also given an informative tour in a mini museum about Cathay Pacific—CX Experience, Flight Training Centre, In-flight Service Training Centre and Crew Lounge. We were very impressed by the way its staff is trained and its professionalism is shaped.
